Refunds On The Agenda at NY Fintech Week

It’s New York FinTech Week.

There were events hosted left, right and center across Manhattan! NY FinTech Week brings together thought leaders tackling all the big issues especially around fostering greater collaboration between financial institutions and FinTechs, and chart a course forward.

What made this year’s gathering so much more interesting is the recognition – finally – that refunds f*cking suck! Merchants and retailers hate them, consumers hate them, and now, so do credit card networks!

Whoddathunkit?!?

Our favorite refunds fintech company – TodayPay – was very active during NY FinTech Week and we saw their Founder Jeremy Balkin at all the major events. It must be nice being a man in demand… when you’re the world’s first and only instant refunds fintech it kinda makes sense why all the VIPs want a piece of your time.

The refund status quo isn’t fit for purpose in the 21st century and instant refund options are essential for the modern digital economy powered by online shopping and ecommerce. It’s essential for both merchants and consumers to remain vociferous about fixing shitty refund experiences and pressure the powers that be to fix it! By fostering transparency, accountability, and integrity in the e-commerce customer experience, we can strive towards a future where refunds actually go from being a nightmare, to an enjoyable experience.

Less shitty ecommerce refunds FTW!
